Finger hash is often collected off the fingertips after harvesting because the sticky resin contains high levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and other cannabinoids. Some growers wear latex gloves during harvest so that the plant’s trichomes stick to the latex fingertips of the gloves. After harvesting, the grower can remove the gloves and place them into a freezer. The cold temperatures make the resin easy to remove from the fingertips of the latex gloves so it can also be used in making cannabis and medicinal marijuana products.
